‘B.C. First’ and its candidates must abide by a set of principles but, as a party committed to direct democracy, cannot adhere to a fixed set of policies. Policies identify the conventional political parties as they are committed to a set of policies identifiable as ‘right-wing, centrist or left-wing’. If you want a party with specific policies, because a party’s philosophy is more important to you than a party of direct democracy, then the conventional parties are your choice. If you want a party that responds to the will of the people, regardless of how it fits into a particular philosophy, then ‘B.C. First’ is your choice. ‘B.C. First’ has a set of principles, and each candidate that comes into the B.C. First fold must adhere to those principles.
