Down Royal Park Golf Course is open to the public 7 days a week!
The golf course, which opened in 1989 by Fred Daly, is 11 miles south of Belfast and bounded on two sides by the river Lagan. The 18-hole golf course can be played from four tees ranging in length from 5,569 yards to 6,940 yards. Our nine-hole course is comprised of par 3s and par 4s and provides a stern test in its own right. A perfect course for those who are time conscious!
Widely recognised as one of the driest courses with the most natural layout in Ulster, Down Royal Park Golf Course offers you a uniquely challenging heath land golf experience playable and open to the public and societies all year round. The sandy soils and high water table ensure the course enjoys an excellent year-round mix of water features and fairways bringing you through beautiful avenues of gorse and bracken, with the gentle sound of racehorses galloping in the background.
