We are Based in Thornton, we cater for 67 people, we aim to provide a safe, secure and caring environment for your retirement, we also accept donations in all forms that goes towards bettering our instituted and also for anything our elderly may need.


Kendrick House Retirement Centre was founded in By the Methodist Church in 1961, named after Sargent John Kendrick who was a well known local preacher.

We are a registered NPO (NPO no: 003-237) Retirement center that cater for the elderly, we have 67 Residents in the main house and 37 independent living Residents that occupy 12 flats, 12 cottages (4 1 room bachelor and 8 2 room) and 2 lodge accommodations (1 bachelor and one 2 room)


An Accommodation for the elderly in a Christian environment which is both affordable and secure. An efficient, integrated, caring home for the elderly and their families.
